Blue Winter

This is our January 16th painting that we are going to do in

Arborg Hall, Arborg Manitoba

from 10 am till about 4 pm.

Cost $70.00

you need to leave a $20.00 non-refundable deposit in order to hold your spot.

please call early as spots fill up quickly.

All you need to do is wear suitable clothing to paint in,

bring a lunch and bring your desire to paint

also an old towel or large paper to lay your beautiful painting on

when transporting in your vehicle.

I supply all the paint and brushes that you will need to use.

Our December 5th Painting Class

Our December 5th painting class was in Arborg and as you are about to witness we had a lot of fun Painting. These students did a Fantastic job painting the Bob Ross painting called

By The Sea

We finished the sky and took a lunch break, since there was something else going on in the other part of the hall we had alot of visitors coming in and checking us out.

They along with myself were very impressed with the sky that they all painted.

WOW, GREAT JOB.

November 14th 2009 Painting Class

My November 14th class was held in Arborg at the community hall

I'm so proud of this class, they all did a super job. We had 10 students for this class but one was camera shy, maybe next time.

we had 5 new students that had never painted before... can you tell which ones they are......... I didn't think so, that's how good they are.

Way to go class......... three cheers for you....

As you can tell by the results , We really enjoyed painting this Forest Edge Painting. Would you believe that some of the painters had never painted before.

I really enjoyed instructing this group they made the class allot of fun.

Doing Demos at the Farmer's Market

( a Farmer's Market is you have to Make it, Bake it or Grow it, no exceptions )

Painting the Northern Lights

During the Summer when Sandi is out visiting we try to paint a few paintings, my granddaughter, ( Sandi's niece ) Katrina, just turned 11 and she wanted to be able to paint the Northern Lights again so that is what we did here are our paintings. By the way Katrina sold this painting for $50.00 not bad eh >>>>

isn't it something we were all painting together and the same painting and yet our paintings are all different.

During our visit

Well I know, I haven't kept up my blog and I'm sorry about that.
Our daughter, Sandi came to Manitoba to spend some time with us, later her husband Clayton flew out as well. Anyway, Sandi purchased some huge canvases like 3feet by 4 feet and we had to make easels since my easels would not hold such a large canvas. So Roy screwed in some boards into the walls in our garage and we proceeded to paint,

Sorry I haven't posted since March. No excuse that I can think of or believe....

Anyway the Paint and Take Day went fantasticly, the students had allot of fun creating their Master pieces. The feed back from the students was that they enjoyed having our guest artists from the States Amy and Karen. Amy instructed on Floral and Karen and I did the landscape paintings.

I am soooooo excited about our Paint and Take Day set up for May 30th, 2009

I now have 3 Certified Bob Ross Instructors Amy from Minnesota, Donna from South Dakota and Karen from Nebraska coming for that day.


These paintings are Oil and we will be using the Bob Ross Technique


Our Paint and Take Day will start at 10:00 am and you can take either floral or landscape class and you will have a finsihed painting by 11:30 am then you are on your own for lunch In the afternoon at 1:30 pm we will start our second painting again you can take either floral or landscape and by 3:00 pm or so you will have completed your afternoon painting.


We will supply everything you need to complete each painting. All you supply is the Want & Desire (I want to )

You will also need to wear suitable clothing for painting in ( please wear old clothes so that if you do get a little paint on your clothes you won't panic) also you will need a old towel or sheet or paper to lay in your car for transporting your masterpieces home.

The cost of these classes are 1 painting morning or afternoon floral or landscape $40.00. Take both morning & the afternoon sessions ( any combination floral, landscape or floral, floral or landscape, landscape or landscape , floral) and the cost will be $70.00.

The classes will be in Arborg Manitoba at the Arena

Paint and Take Day May 30th 2009

on May 30th, 2009 I'm having 2 guest painters Amy and Donna and they are from the United States. they are both Certified Bob Ross Instructors in Floral and Landscape. You can join us and paint a beautiful flower or a landscape painting or one of each.

The day is going to be split into morning session and an afternoon session, and the room is going to split into a floral classroom and a landscape classroom therefore you can sign up for the morning session and take a floral class or a landscape class your choice and in the afternoon you can sign up for a floral class or a landscape class your choice.

Each class will take about 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours
the morning session will start at 10:00 am
and we will break for lunch ( you are on your own for lunch)

then we will start the afternoon session at 1:30 pm.
be sure to wear suitable painting clothes and bring an old towel or something to lay your paintings on in order to protect your vehicle.

the cost will be $40.00 per class or any 2 classes for $70.00
