Oval Essence

Well I went for my Level One Certification In the States, I have to go back 2 more times in order to get my Level 3 and then I will be certified to Teach the Bob Ross method of painting.

Our Instuctor, Darryl, was fantastic, he taught me allot, there's a certain way to hold and load the brushes and knives in order to get the results that we are looking for. hopefully, I will remember and practice what he taught.

I received my Level One Certificate and a cool Bob Ross Mug and pen and many new friends.....

Here is what I painted ( with instructions from Darryl) on Wednesday ( our third day there) May 7th, 2008

"Mountain Summit"

This painting is called Mountain Summit painted March 23, 2008.

The direction for this one is in Bob Ross book series 13. I enjoyed painting this one, got to practice spruce trees, bushes, mountains, sky, water and reflections. Also got to use allot of colors.

Here's another one of Bob Ross's creations, well actually... it's a paint off a video creation of his and what my brushes did while watching his video.



I hope you can see the path that goes into the bushes on the left hand side. I really like doing reflections in the water, it's actually easier then you think.

Forest Edge painting

This is a version of the Bob Ross painting, with this I watched a Bob Ross video (series 23) and was able to paint it

lighthouse painting

at first I thought this one would be difficult but it wasn't has hard has I thought it would be,
I really enjoyed painting it, hope you enjoy it.

Fishing Pond

I again enjoyed painting this one, I painted it December 16, 2007, taking about 3hours from start to finish. I use Bob Ross Landscape Oils which are really great to work with, most of this painting was also done with a 2 inch brush.

Like I mentioned I'm still new at this and therefore it took about 4 hours from start to finish.
